Small Group Ministry
Small Group Gatherings
Join one of our small groups to build connections and to support and encourage each other in spiritual growth. Groups of 8 – 10 persons meet once or several times a month, morning, afternoon, or evening to encourage sharing and discussion of various topics. Discussion topics have included: right and wrong, humor, racism, fear, friendship, and spirituality. Anyone interested in joining a group may speak with the minister.
UUMH Evening Small Group
Openings
Our UU Small Group will be starting back up after a wonderful summer of family and visitors. We have openings and would love to hear from anyone who might be interested in joining our small group. Our format is to focus on one topic each month and share in an informal discussion wherever the topic may take us. Recent discussions include: Nurturing Beauty; Music; Being the Only; Imagination.
The date for our next meeting is Wednesday, September 20th at 6:30 PM.
We generally meet on the third Wednesday of each month, but sometimes change the date to accommodate everyone's busy schedule.
We had been meeting on Zoom throughout the pandemic but hope to meet "live" again whenever our group is all in town. Liz and Dave Van Wye spend part of the year in Maryland and we meet on Zoom during those months.
