 They were a varied group; consultants, Drs. of Divinity, professors, psychotherapists, sales representatives, students, and the like. A very motley crew, indeed. What they had in common was a love of Jug Band Music from the 1920's. They decided to put on a show, which turned out to be a great success. The people in the audience wanted "more, more, more." And more!
So, after playing the same old songs for years on end, "The All Worn Out Jug Band" has made a CD with some of their favorites. Part of the sale of each CD will be donated to the Unitarian Universalist Meeting House in Chatham, MA for the generous and much valued work of the Meeting House.
The donated money will go directly towards providing the basic necessities of warm clothing, food and shelter to those families and individuals in need of some extra assistance in this Cape Cod, MA community. Although Cape Cod enjoys the reputation of being a charming seaside resort area, there are people nearby who dearly need and rely upon our help. We are doing our best to provide for them and we thank you for your purchase. Please purchase one or many cd's, and let the band go home now for a much needed rest.
